FREE CHOICE CSA

What is a free choice CSA? It’s a solution to the traditional model of Community Supported Agriculture (CSA). It’s a system that gives you the veggies you want in amounts you can use all season long. Sign up at the beginning of the season and take home a share of fresh, flavorful, sustainably grown produce every week!

What you get

When you join the CSA you get 4, 6, or 9 vegetable "items" each week, depending on which size share you choose.  You get access to our online CSA store, where you can pre-order the veggies you want in your share and purchase additional “items” as needed. An “item” of produce, for example, could be: a large bunch of kale, 2-3 tomatoes, a ½ lb bag of salad mix, or a bunch of carrots or beets.

With your CSA share comes the opportunity to choose from many high value items like strawberries, triple washed salad mixes, asparagus, and early greenhouse carrots and cucumbers.

As a member of the CSA, you also get a weekly email newsletter with farm updates and recipe suggestions.

Matt and Laura are always so friendly and fun to talk with. They also do a good job answering our questions about the vegetables. Most of all, I love coming home with bags of beautiful, fresh, organic vegetables...

I can’t let a minute more go by without sharing my belief that your produce at Full Plate Farm is consistently and across the board among the highest quality I have used in my over 40 years of professional and personal cooking. In addition to that, it never goes un-noticed the care in which you give to packing each and every order, not only to preserve freshness but presented so beautifully, as if you give every vegetable its deserved reverence.

Small Share

4 items per week.  For 1 person or gardeners looking to supplement their diets with veggies they don’t have already growing in their gardens.

Medium Share

6 items per week. For 1-2 people.  This is a good amount for a couple, small family or individual who is vegetarian or spends a fair amount of time cooking.

Large Share

9 items per week.  For 1-3 adults or a family with kids.  This share is great for a family that loves to cook.  Members who choose this share take home the most variety of veggies each week.

Why are you only offering the spring/ summer season this year?  After the 2022 spring/ summer CSA we will be taking a sabbatical in order to focus on our health and wellbeing. The past nine years starting and running the farm, coupled with two years of navigating the pandemic, as well as some chronic health issues have left us in need of a break and some much needed time with family.  The decision to shorten our growing season this year was a difficult one to make, but we feel that it is the best choice for us to be able to sustain ourselves for the long haul and to continue to be able to grow delicious produce year after year.

Our refund and cancellation policy

When you purchase a Full Plate Farm CSA share, you are agreeing to share in the risks and rewards of small scale agriculture and committing to participate for the entire season you signed up for.  Refunds are available 30 days after sign up or to those with extenuating circumstances.

Due to the perishable nature of produce, we cannot replace your share if you forget to pick it up.  Your share will be held for 24 hours after your scheduled pick up time, and can be retrieved the next day (hours vary based on location).
